Therefore, what is the one most significant question or comment you have regarding the field of microbiology?
Microbiology is a fascinating subject to me. I have always been highly interested in the organisms which cause disease, and I am very excited to learn about them in this class, as well as other beneficial microbes.

ReplyDeleteI've taken immunology and learned about how our body can fight such organisms. Now I'm interested in learning about the organisms themselves. I want to see why such small creatures can have such a large impact on the world.
ReplyDeleteMicrobiology is an interesting topic. I want to learn about the evolution of life on earth and how microns survived and thrived in certain elements. Microbes can be found almost everywhere and I'm also interested how they play in diseases in
ReplyDeleteIn my field I find micro one of the more interesting areas. From recieving a specimen in the lab to performing test to identifiy the group the bacteria is from can be difficult. Having to know what test to perform that will give the specific results that are characteristic to the unknown specimen.
ReplyDeleteI'm nervous for this course as I think it could get a little confusing with a lot of new information but I'm looking forward to learning about some topics I am very unfamiliar with.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think about microbiology I think about single cellular organisms, their life cycle, and how they interact in our everyday lives. I hope that by the end of this class I will have a more accurate and defined understanding about what the field of microbiology has to offer.
ReplyDeleteI am mostly looking forward to learning about normal flora, how the body deals with these microbes, and what causes certain communities to become overgrown and cause infection and other issues.
